Qrisp Rewards Terms

Draft for legal review. Scratch cards are a game of chance, so they are run as a trade promotion lottery. These terms must be checked against each state and territory's trade promotion laws before launch, including whether a permit is needed. Some jurisdictions, such as the ACT, may require one depending on the prize pool.

1. Who can join

Qrisp Rewards is free. You need an Australian mobile number and must be 16 or older. One account per person.

2. Earning points

  1. You earn 1 point for every whole dollar you pay a business through Qrisp while logged in to Qrisp Rewards.
  2. Payments under $2 don't earn points or scratch cards.
  3. Points are added when the payment completes. If the payment is refunded, we remove the points it earned.
  4. Points expire 12 months after you earn them.

3. Scratch cards

  1. After an eligible payment, you may receive a scratch card. You get up to 5 cards a day, and 1 card a day for each business you pay.
  2. Every card wins a prize. The prize is chosen at random when the card is issued, and revealed when you scratch it. The prizes and the odds of each are published at qrisp.com.au/rewards.
  3. Cards must be scratched within 30 days, or they expire.
  4. The promoter is Qrisp. [Promoter's legal name, ABN and address to be added.] Total prize values, promotion period and any permit numbers will be published before launch.

4. Using points

  1. You can exchange points for vouchers in the Qrisp app, at the rates shown there.
  2. Points and vouchers have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for cash, transferred or sold.
  3. Vouchers are subject to the issuer's own terms and expiry date.

5. Fair use

We may cancel points, cards or vouchers, or close an account, if we reasonably believe someone is misusing the program. Examples include:

  • making payments to yourself or to a business you own or work for in order to earn rewards
  • splitting payments to get more cards
  • using more than one account

Payments to a business that uses the same mobile number as your Qrisp Rewards account don't earn rewards.

6. Changes and ending the program

We may change these terms or end the program with at least 30 days' notice. If we end it, you'll have at least 30 days to use your points.

7. Privacy

We handle your information as described in the Payer Privacy Notice and our Privacy Policy.
