How it works

Every business gets its own QR codes. Every code pays into your bank.

Sign up, verify your business, and Qrisp creates your first counter code. Add as many more as you need, for counters, stalls, staff, invoices or one-off sales.

For your business

Set up in about 10 minutes.

Sign up and verify

Tell us your business name and ABN, and confirm your identity. We check your ABN with the Australian Business Register and verify the bank account your money goes to.

Get your QR codes

Your first counter code is ready straight away. Print it from your dashboard, or we'll post you a free counter stand. Add codes for each counter, stall or staff member.

Start taking payments

Point customers to your code, or type an amount to show a one-time sale code. Every payment appears on your dashboard the moment it's approved.

Four kinds of QR code

Pick the code that fits how you sell.

CodeBest forWho sets the amountHow long it works
Counter QRCounters, tables, market stalls, donation boxesCustomer types it inUntil you switch it off
Sale QRCheckouts, where you've rung up a totalYou, locked inOne payment, expires after 15 minutes
Invoice QR and payment linkQuotes, invoices, rent, deposits, tuitionYou, locked inOne payment, 1 to 90 days (you choose)
Team QREach staff member, driver, site or eventCustomer, or you via a sale codeUntil you switch it off

Every code is unique to one business and carries an 8-character code, like QK7M 2X9P, printed underneath. If a code ever goes missing, switch it off from your dashboard and it stops working instantly.

For your customers

No app. No card. No typing account numbers.

  1. Open the phone camera and scan your Qrisp code.
  2. Check your business name and the amount, or type the amount for a counter code.
  3. Choose their bank. Their banking app opens with the payment ready.
  4. Approve it in the banking app. Both of you see "Paid" in seconds.

After the first payment, customers can save the approval with their bank, so paying you next time takes one tap.

Any phone camera

Every Qrisp code is a secure web link, so it works on any modern iPhone or Android phone.

Their own bank

Payments are approved in the customer's own banking app using PayTo, the bank-to-bank payment standard built by Australia's banks.
